Nelspruit

About 300km from Johannesbug, Nelspruit is fast becoming the fastest growing young city in South Africa.

Nelspruit is the capital of the Mpumalamga Province, and host a variety of business and industries.

Climate

Nelspruit is a true sub tropical climate and is only around 700 meters above sea level. It is very close (200km) to the Mocambique coast.  Temperatures are fairly hot in summer and is normally in  the  thirties. Winter day temperatures are a very comfortable 20 degrees.  Rain normally falls in late afternoon with an average rainfall of  780 mm per annum.

Transport

The N4 is the main highway from Johannesburg and is in a very good condition. Close to Nelspruit is the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport which provides the main gateway for international tourists to the Lowveld.
